Escape Tours shoppers have access to 19 single-use codes tracked through SimplyCodes, a direct email signup offer that generates a €2.50 discount valid for 48 hours, and official multi-city package deals that cut the per-game cost from €29.95 down to as low as €12.38. For a merchant where sitewide public codes are historically rare, these three paths carry the most savings weight, followed by VVV Gift Card payment support and competitor options for cities Escape Tours doesn't currently cover.
19 Single-Use Codes Fill the Gap Left by Rare Sitewide Coupons
Escape Tours rarely issues standard sitewide public coupon codes, which makes the 19 single-use codes currently tracked by SimplyCodes the most reliable route to a direct discount. Because broad public promotions surface so infrequently for this merchant, these single-use codes shared by other members of the SimplyCodes community often represent the only available way to knock a fixed amount off a self-guided city game booking.
SimplyCodes data confirms an active inventory of 19 of these codes for Escape Tours. Availability shifts as codes are claimed, so checking SimplyCodes for Escape Tours before booking gives you the best chance of securing one while the inventory is stocked.
Instant €2.50 Discount from the Escape Tours Email Signup
Entering your email on the Escape Tours homepage generates a €2.50 discount code that appears on screen immediately, according to Escape Tours' official offer. This is a guaranteed discount straight from the merchant, which makes it the most dependable option if you plan to book a tour right away rather than waiting for a community code to become available.
The generated code carries a strict 48-hour expiration window from the moment it appears. Because that window is short, the timing matters: trigger the signup only once you're ready to commit to a specific city route and complete the booking, so the discount doesn't lapse before checkout.
Multi-City Package Deals Cut Per-Game Cost from €29.95 to €12.38
Individual Escape Tours team tickets standardly cost €29.95 each, but the official multi-city packages drop the per-game price dramatically for anyone playing more than one route. According to Escape Tours' official package pricing, three tiers are available: 3 cities for €59, which works out to €19.66 per game; 5 cities for €79, or €15.80 per game; and 8 cities for €99, bringing the cost down to €12.38 per game.
The 8-city package delivers the steepest per-game savings, cutting the standard €29.95 price by more than half. Each package remains valid for two years, so there's no pressure to play every city in a single trip. If you're traveling across multiple Dutch cities or planning several outings over time, buying a package upfront rather than individual tickets is the clearest way to lower your total spend.
Competitors Like Questo and Secret City Trails Cover Cities Escape Tours Doesn't Reach
Questo, Urban Adventure Games, City Game, and Secret City Trails run app-based self-guided urban exploration games in the same format and price tier as Escape Tours, making them practical alternatives when Escape Tours doesn't offer a route in your destination city. These brands compete directly for shoppers seeking outdoor city adventure games, and SimplyCodes tracks 190 competitor codes across them.
If your target city falls outside Escape Tours' current route map, checking active codes for Questo or Secret City Trails can surface a self-guided game in the exact location you're headed. Escape Tours concentrates heavily on Dutch cities, so travelers heading elsewhere in Europe often find one of these competitors offers coverage where Escape Tours has no listing.
Pay with a VVV Gift Card on Escape Tours Bookings
Escape Tours accepts the VVV Gift Card, a widely held Dutch multi-store gift card, as payment for online tour bookings, according to Escape Tours' official FAQ. This doesn't lower the booking price on its own, but it lets you apply an existing VVV balance toward a tour rather than paying out of pocket.
For shoppers in the Netherlands who already hold VVV Gift Card balances, this payment option turns a stored gift value into a booked city game. Combining VVV Gift Card payment with a single-use code or the email signup discount from SimplyCodes stretches that balance even further on your Escape Tours booking.
