All 31 calendar days are ranked here by how hard shoppers hunt for promo codes, measured from every code copy recorded on SimplyCodes and refreshed daily. The ranking moves as the data does.
Coupon hunting follows the pay cycle. As of August 13, 2026, promo-code demand on SimplyCodes peaks on the 28th at 237,781 code copies a day and bottoms on the 13th at 201,267 — a swing of 18.1%. Whether those codes work does not follow it: checkout success holds at about 79.7% across every part of the month.
- Demand climbs into the last days of the month and falls to its lowest point in the middle — the 28th runs 18.1% above the 13th.
- The control settles it: across 3 parts of the month, checkout success spans 0.07 of a percentage point — 79.74% at its highest, 79.67% at its lowest. Waiting for payday gets you the same code in a busier queue.
- The two figures are measured over different stretches and are stated that way: demand over August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026, checkout success over February 1, 2026 to August 12, 2026, which is as far back as that signal runs.
Code copies a day = that calendar day's total divided by the number of times it came round, which is what makes the 31st comparable to the 15th · Total copies = the count behind it · Days measured = how many times that calendar day fell inside the window.

Methodology
How SimplyCodes verifies codes. Behind every figure in this live data study is the SimplyCodes verification system. Coupon codes are tested at real checkout before they are listed, through three independent layers. Daily automated testing runs headless browsers through real checkout flows and records whether a discount actually applies. A human verification network of 10,000+ verifiers submits screenshot-and-timestamp proof, at 4.6M+ verification actions a month and 98% accuracy. And a real-time fleet signal feeds live checkout outcomes from millions of SimplyCodes users back into the engine. Each code carries a Health Score from 0–100, weighted by checkout outcomes, verifier consensus, and recency. With an estimated 40–60% of coupon codes on the public web dead, restricted, or fake, the system exists so a code earns its place by working at checkout, not by being collected.
How this study is built. We count every promo code shoppers copied on SimplyCodes over August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026 — 365 days — and group the copies by the day of the month they happened on. Each day is then divided by the number of times it occurred in the window, because the 31st comes round seven times where the 15th comes round twelve, and raw totals would read that calendar fact as low demand. Alongside the curve we read the share of promo-code attempts that succeeded at checkout, split into three parts of the month: the 1st to the 10th, the 11th to the 20th, and the 21st onward. That second figure is the control, and it is measured over February 1, 2026 to August 12, 2026 — a shorter stretch than the demand curve, because that is as far back as the checkout-outcome signal runs. Both windows are stated rather than blended. Demand here means codes shoppers grabbed. It is never a claim about whether a code worked, which is exactly what the control measures separately. Figures refresh with the data snapshot shown above.
